Bromley Terminal Manifold

Location: Bromley, KY

The Bromley Terminal Manifold abrasive blast and recoat project took approximately 13,125 safe working hours to complete. The project included wire saw cutting the existing concrete supports and placing shim block stands and FRP installation at each contact point. The project took approximately 42,500 pounds of blast media and almost 130 gallons of epoxy/Urethane paint to recoat all of the associated valves and piping.

MP 286.03 Exposure

Location: Knoxville, IL

This project included the excavation of approximately 75 feet of 20-inch pipe. MSE installed temporary dams and trench boxes to safely blast and recoat the pipeline with epoxy coating and installed Integrity Clock Springs. The creek channel was also redesigned to prevent future erosion of the pipeline.

Bromley Terminal Loading Dock Piping

Location: Ohio River Bromley, KY

This project included installing scaffolding on the vertical piping as well as the horizontal piping. Full containment of the work area was required to capture all blast media and paint chips from entering the waterway. The project scope also included abrasive blasting and recoating of four pipelines with epoxy primer and Urethane top coat.

Restoration Projects

River Crossing Armoring

Location: Independence, KS

This 230-foot river crossing was to be armored with sandbags and rip rap. The project included right-of-way clearing, access mat placement, hydrovac, grading on the slopes, sandbag placement by divers instream, blind rip rap placement in stream, rip rap placement on land, placement of erosion control blanket, topsoil placement, restoring all areas disturbed by construction and a bathymetric survey at the completion of construction.

Grading Channel and Installing Armoring

Location: Salisbury, MO

This project included installing temporary dams; grading slopes; blasting and recoating the pipeline; installing rock shield; placing geotech, filter aggregate, rip rap, erosion control blanket; restoring all areas disturbed by construction and conducting a final survey after completion of construction.
